From chopped to cooked: Design and inference in physical environments (Exp 1)
Study 1 (design inference) of an Overcooked-style kitchen-design study. Participants viewed static kitchen layout images and, in a between-subjects design, judged what each kitchen was designed for (how many cooks, or which dish) or estimated how much time it would take to complete the task (for one vs. two cooks, or for a tomato vs. an onion salad). All responses were made on 0-100 sliders.
