The Pragmatics of Spatial Language (Exp 1)
Participants inferred a Gold Lily location on a city map after hearing spatial utterances using in/near with region names. Participants were randomly assigned to one of two map groups (A or B, the second group's maps flipped and recoloured) and saw that group's 4 cities crossed with 7 utterances, 28 sentences in random order.
