The role of relevance, competence, and priors for scalar inferences (Exp 1)
Participants read short vignettes containing a speaker's utterance with 'some' or 'or' and rate the likelihood of statements probing relevance, speaker competence, prior probability, and inference strength using a 0–100 slider.
